Yesterday was the infamous brunch day! To my pleasant surprise, we now have beef slow roast every Sunday starting at brunch time. Whoopie!!
I was happy to help out in wardrobe yesterday, working on Joseph's hat and did a little bit of shoe. Can't wait to go back on Tuesday. It was nice to work in wardrobe while Gary worked and he'd come and pick me up for breaks during intermissions and between shows.

After the show we went to Ray's the Steaks for dinner with Laura, Michel and his family, Zeca and Yahia. Food was AMAZING. I ordered a rib-eye and Laura ordered a 12 oz. New York strip to share so we can get a taste of both. Along with everybody's steaks, mash potato and spinach were served family style and refillable. We thought Laura's steak was huge until my rib-eye came! It was 2 inches thick and as big as my FACE!!Everyone was very satisfied with their steaks, and just as we thought we couldn't fit desserts in, we were served several different kinds of desserts, compliment of the house. I loved the dark chocolate mousse, so rich and smooth, and it's perfection when mixed with the real whipped cream (which I greedily scraped from all the plates of desserts) and fresh strawberries. I've never had so much meat in one day and all I dreamed about last night were cows.
After dinner, we checked out the 18th Street Lounge to see if Gary likes it to have his big 30th there. Atmosphere was cool and music was nice. Quite a few of us from Cirque were there and we danced a little to the music. We will definitely be back for the party!
