It's nice to be back on site after being absent for 4 days straight.. I missed it! There's something going around at work at the moment. Everyone's getting the 'funny-throat' syndrome. Some people are still limboing and some have fallen ill. I myself was feeling like crap for a few days but not enough to stay in bed, nor good enough to run around.
But I really couldn't stay at home for another day!!
Clair and John didn't get in as early as we expected last night as their flight took a detour and landed in Newark to refuel and avoid a storm (what storm?) but they finally arrived after a long day and settled in just fine.

However, due to time difference they were up and shining at 6am and proceeded to wake us up 3 times at 1.5 hours intervals. After lunch (Popeye's Chicken mmm... better than KFC), they went on a nice hop on-hop off tour bus around DC as we suggested and watched the show at night while I helped out in Wardrobe for a while. Unfortunately, the flying act has been out since last night as the safety net was broken.

Rebecca is back from Tokyo so I should be able to finally fully install my Rosetta Stone and resume my French sessions!
