Monday Tourists (what else?)

There's just sooo much to see in Washington and we've still only been to a fraction of all the attractions, memorials and museums in the city!

The agenda for the day was tour the inside of the US Capitol and then head to Georgetown to explore and do a little bit of shopping.
U.S. Capitol
Library of Congress across from the US Capitol
Being educated on the history of USA and the building

Waiting for the tour guide

In the main hall of the Capitol, right under the dome!

The ceiling of the dome. The structure is all cast iron.

Oh hello Mr. George Washington with many female friends and goddesses!

Happy shopping at Georgetown

Ice cream! Hagen Daz's strawberry is still my favourite :)

Sorry for the lack of writing, as I haven't been feeling too well for the past few days. Just in a limbo between actually falling sick and fighting the wave of virus.

By the way, planning for Halloween yet?
There's a shop, Total Fright, at The Shops at Georgetown Park, 3222 M Street NW, Washington DC (202)333-1668.
And I believe there's a fabric store in the same mall as well, but I haven't visited myself, called Exquisite Fabrics (202)775-1818.
There's another Exquisite Fabrics at another location, 1775 K Street NW Washington DC (202)775-1818.
Check it out!
