First Day Off, Well Deserved

We didn't want to get up this morning. Felt like jello but the brightness in our room was merciless!!

Today was more sight-seeing, specifically the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial. Hopefully, but unlikely, that we' be able to get tickets ("free" -- word of Washington!) to go up the Monument. First though, we went to say au revoir to Michel's parents and brother Denis.

We grabbed some McD's after getting off the Metro. Fed a cute squirrel who fended off the birds as we tossed him fries (yeah.. unhealthy for the fur ball), then kept walking to the Monument. As I expected, there weren't any tickets left.
Look how excited I am!

Korean War Memorial. We saw a lot of veterans sight seeing today.

After sight-seeing, we got home in late afternoon and relaxed a little before we had dinner at ours that Hiro and Reika prepared -- Japanese curry!!! It was sooo good. Thank you guys!

The night ended with a few of us watching X-Factor and decided we should do this every Monday :)
(We are greatly anticipating for the debut of  The Inbetweeners Series 3!!!)
