The Monday after a 10-shows week, we took it easy, kept it mellow, yet still made time to see the city.
1.5 week left in Washington D.C.!!
Gary and I visited the National Aquarium, which didn't seem to be a very well known place, since Google Map on iPhone gave us the wrong direction and even the police didn't know where it was. It turned out that the aquarium was quite small and was underground.
The low-light feature on Gary's new Canon SD1400 IS camera is absolutely brilliant. All of the photos were taken without flash. Colours showed up rather vivid, considering how dark aquariums usually are.
Each exhibit had different objects in the tank imitating the environment that the fish live in in the wild |
Baby sea turtle |
Sea horses |
Tiny frog and tiny tiny snails. Can you see? And Gary's green nail.. |
It was a nice short day out as it only took about an hour to look around. Short and sweet. Then we went home and watched some Harry Potter. Gotta catch up on the magic because we're going to HARRY POTTER WORLD in FLORIDA between cities!!!! Whoooooooop!!
Hello Hogwarts!! |
Farewell Vanessa! The last one of the original kitchen crew. Take care, good luck and wish you all the best!!
