Finally, Harry Potter 7 Part 1!!
I loved it. This movie is the closest to the book out of all the other Harry Potter movies, understandably as it was filmed in 2 parts.
Can you believe that by the time the last movie is debuted next year, we have seen all of them in the last decade?
I so admire that all the actors/actresses of the important characters have committed to their role for all this time. Hermione Granger would not be the same if it wasn't Emma Watson from beginning to the end, and same for all the other roles.
I would be quite sad when the last movie comes out next year... like I have to mourn all over again, when I did after finished reading the last book. That would be the end of my looking-forward-to-the-next-Harry-Potter-next-year-when?-that's-so-long-from-now!! era... for the last decade!!
Harry Potter--forever a classic series (really trying to rationalize that there isn't a real wizarding world....but we never know, would we? we're just muggles)
Now onto the NBA game we watched on Monday evening at Philips Arena.
Atlanta Hawks vs. Boston Celtics
Don't ask me what the score was, I didn't pay attention... sorry!
First off, I'm not that interested in NBA, but it's just cool to watch a live game one time to see what's it all about.
Second, it was wayyyyy too distracting! There were the cheerleaders, the mascots running around, every time there was a time-out or between periods, there were too many things going on with games, prizes and show. Then there were screens all over the place, always something flashing. And then the cheesy sound effects......Come on! Just want to watch the game and concentrate on it. Instead it was like a carnival...
I totally lost interest by half time. My mission became 'spot the famous people'.
